
Curriculum Network Support Agreement
This agreement provides for the services of a technician from the Westfield Centre, Schools’ ICT Services, on a regular basis.
Inclusions
Installation of new PCs & printers
Installation of new software
Repairs to existing hardware (labour only)
Reconfiguration of existing hardware
Troubleshooting of software problems
Exclusions
Spare parts
Consumables
Installation of new networks/file servers/network operating systems/Microsoft Back Office applications
Consultancy
Large-scale implementations
Where the agreement is for part of a year only, the charges will be calculated pro rata to the remaining portion of the financial year plus a small administration charge.
Requests for variations to service will be submitted in writing and confirmed similarly.
Acceptance by The Westfield Centre of this agreement is subject to satisfactory survey.
Pay and Go Curriculum Network Support
Support units can be purchased in half-day (3 hour) blocks
Support units are the smallest size that can be held i.e. you cannot carry over part units
A support unit entitles the school to that amount of time in support for any of the purposes listed below. The Centre reserves the right to choose which type of support is most appropriate. Support will be arranged at a mutually agreed time.
A support unit provides only labour. Parts and licences will need to be purchased separately.
Support is offered in 5 unit blocks.
All support units are valid from 1st April till 31st March the following year.
Support units can be used for:
Server installs
Curriculum workstation installs
Microsoft O/S installs
Curriculum software installs
Desktop hardware installs (scanners, printers, cameras, input devices)
Systems maintenance
Reactive support for a wide range of faults (however, hardware repair is not within the scope of this support)
Consultancy
Other support requests at the discretion of the Centre
Minimum purchase - £816.00 (5 x 3-hour units)
